I’m in Krefeld feeling well prepared for the trip. Well prepared for

• long car rides (About 8 hours in the last two days, although it was only a distance of 540km)
• meeting new people (Met lots of nice people while hitchhiking)
• the heat of Dubai (One of the cars had a broken engine cooling system so we had to turn up the heating in the car to 29° C for almost 150km. After that the heating wouldn’t work anymore so we had to refill the system every 50km)
• No-shave-November (I met up with my friend Jacob in Bonn, who will be joining me for the next month. Is Eiko up for this as well? : ) )
